WINNIPEG FEMALE FITNESS JOURNEY PHOTOGRAPHY
I met Crystal about 3 years ago and we shot a couple of sessions, including a Fitness Shoot. I recently ran into Crystal again, and was amazed at her new physical transformation. This posting is about a Winnipeg Female Fitness Journey Photography session. It's a photo shoot showcasing a woman who dedicated and disciplined herself to create a new "her".
The above images were taken of Crystal about 3 years ago.
She was in very good condition, however at that time she had more muscle mass and was less lean than the present.
She mentioned that when Covid began, and the gyms shut down, it definitely affected her fitness lifestyle in a negative way.
By December of 2020 she had gained a fair bit of weight and was at 179 lbs.
Over the next year she re-dedicated herself to a health and fitness lifestyle and is now about 128lbs.
In Crystal's Winnipeg Female Fitness Journey photography session - I quickly noticed how lean she had become.
There was a lot more definition in her abs and other body parts, which showed up great in her shots.
She told me that she currently is on a 5 day workout cycle where she works the entire body.
She also ascribes to the "muscle confusion principle" - where each cycle she changes up the various exercises.
Crystals workouts last between 60 and 75 minutes. She stated that during that time frame she can keep up a good intensity.
Her gym sessions are mostly in the early morning, which gets her physically and mentally prepared for the rest of the day.
She usually has a Pre-Workout drink that she finds very beneficial to her workouts.
For my fitness shoots, I generally like the dark backgrounds and settings as it showcases the fitness body very well.
However I did add a couple of brighter backgrounds just to show an alternative that any fitness client can have.
For anyone's Winnipeg Female Fitness Journey photography session - I can mix up your shoot with both light and dark settings.
A fitness shoot, doesn't have to be all weights and workout equipment.
A fitness client is very proud of their accomplishments and may want to show a more sexier side of themselves.
Crystal was feeling very confident in her skin - so we shot a few sexier photos that have both a fashion flare to them as well as showing off her fitness level.
Crystal's eating habits have changed considerably, in order for her to be so lean.
She cut out a lot of sugars, as well as adding proteins and having an overall calorie deficit for most days.
She targets her calorie intake by adding a ZERO to the weight she is at. So at 128 lbs. she will have 1280 calories during the day.
She says she does have "cheat days", but everything in moderation.

I had this idea preconceived in my head, and had Crystal swinging a sledgehammer in the studio.
Then I added my own styling in photoshop to create this final edgy image.
