After doing hundreds of Pinup Themes involving costumes and outfits - I decided to venture into the Cosplay World with my Winnipeg Cosplay Tomb Raider photo shoot. I wanted to premier my Cosplay Sessions with something Outstanding - and I think THIS IS IT! So sit back and enjoy some exciting images of the Tomb Raider, from my studio.
I found the Perfect Model for this project, namely a fitness fanatic named "Jodi".
She is serious about health and fitness and definitely had that Laura Croft "look".
I brought her into my Winnipeg Studio where we created all of these images.
I wanted to Experiment with a variety of Backgrounds for this session - so I can show potential future clients of all the possibilities.
The first few images of this Winnipeg Cosplay Tomb Raider set were done in a Movie Poster style.
The very first image had a background composited while the above image was kept to a more simpler style.
I wanted a variety of Action Poses for this set - and that's what you will see.
The poses all suggest intensity as well as the confidence and beauty of the Tomb Raider.
I want my Cosplay Images to be very High-End in all aspects of the image.
When you book a Cosplay Session - it will be very Customized just for you.
You can choose background styles, and I will create the poses and the lighting specific for your character.
In the above images of this Winnipeg Cosplay Tomb Raider set - I added an Industrial Corridor for the background.
It's a great background for any type of Combat Character.
I should mention that I DO NOT supply Cosplay Outfits for the sessions.
However I DO HAVE a HUGE variety of PROPS that are available FREE.
My props include many styles of Weapons which come in handy for Cosplay.
The above image is an Experimental Background that I created just for this set.
I added the Shattered Glass dimension to the image which I thought was kind of cool for Laura Croft.
This edit is also available for many Cosplay Characters.
I introduced another Prop Weapon into this set, namely the ninja style sword.
Laura Croft is adept with all weapons and here she shows off her confidence and intensity.
A different background was again used, to give the viewers some variety.
So here is a unique Prop you don't se too often - the Grappling Hook.
It definitely took some extra time to have that Alley Background composited behind "Jodi" - but it was well worth it.
The Tomb Raider is about to scale some Urban Structures during what looks like a Rainy Night.
Somehow Laura Croft still looks sensational in this Winnipeg Cosplay Tomb Raider image.
Here is another simpler studio background, but I've added some extra Shadow for visual interest.
That ammunition box is an authentic prop while Jodi's gun is fake of course.
If you have a Cosplay Character that you would like "TO BECOME" for a photo shoot, then I suggest contacting me to begin the journey.
I usually require at least a month's notice, so that sessions are planned and detailed to create the best possible images.
I want your images to really have a look and feel that goes with your character.
Not just a photo of you standing there in a costume. That's boring.
The final few images with the Tomb Raider are my favourite from the set.
They have yet another cool background - this time it's a Full Moon on an eerie Cliff.
That Bow is the real deal - and totally looks Perfect with this character.
That concludes your exciting preview of my Winnipeg Cosplay Tomb Raider Sessions.
If you are now "pumped up" to have your own character "Come To Life" - then i would be thrilled to create your images.
